ADR
The acronym ADR means « Additional dialogue recording ». It is the process of re-recording film dialogue in a recording studio, either to achieve better quality audio or to add new lines in post-production. To do so, the actors redub themselves, or record the new lines in the studio, a quiet and controlled environment.
